But, here’s some feedback. When I tried to buy ithe comic with a credit card, your shopping service did not provide the usual third party assurances/logos about credit card security. I was forced to replace my card a few months ago because of a hack. What a PITA! Second, the shopping cart company you used tried to force me to get an account with them. Bad move! I was there to buy your product, not get involved with them! Ah well …

Great to see you in person at MeCAF last weekend. I totally agree about how draining it can be to run a table, and how hard to stay upbeat after several hours. Standing helped me too, and the free coffee didn’t hurt either.
I still feel like I have a lot to learn about getting kids to stop at my table. I was surrounded by amazing artists who were doing on-the-spot sketches at $5 and $10 a pop, and, while I’ve been working on improving my art, I’m not quite good enough to do that yet.
Corey Hodgdon did a cool interview with comic artist Michael Champion, who said he often collects a ton of commission jobs at conventions and then takes home what he can’t finish at the table, so he can work his way through them in the ensuing weeks. That could work for someone like me, so I don’t feel pressured to nail it in a few minutes for someone who’s standing there waiting. 🙂
Congrats on Red Flag and your first convention!
